Do you have to be in pain to benefit from Chiropractic?
Absolutely not! Pain is a late or acute symptom of an underlying problem. Dysfunctional motion or jamming up of joints from chronic stress, past injuries, or arthritis may not necessarily cause pain right away but if may be causing nerve interference. Only 10% of all nerves relate to pain. That means that 90% deals with functions and performance of the body. Vertebral subluxation may be silent - not painful but may cause other symptoms such as asthma, indigestion, high blood pressure or IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome) amongst other things.
Many people choose regular chiropractic care not because they are in pain anymore but because they understand the importance of a healthy nervous system and how that can help maintain optimum health.
